Our Lead Guide and Instructor, Aabid, is also the founder of Gulmarg Ski Trips. He began offering skiing lessons in 2010 and has since reached significant milestones, including working as a guide for Gulmarg Heliski. As a local, skiing with Aabid comes with the unique advantage of his intimate knowledge of the area. His teaching experience has been exceptional, with consistently excellent reviews from clients.
Aabid’s deep understanding of the mountains is a top priority for our backcountry guests. He has undergone rigorous training with top Kiwi guides, adhering to International Avalanche Safety Standards. Aabid recently earned his Avalanche Level 1 certification (AIARE) under American standards and is a licensed Ski Guide with the J&K Himalayan Tourism Department.
